Amish Friendship Bread

__________Day 1 do not work (starter date)

__________Day 2 - mash the bag

__________Day 3 - mash the bag

__________Day 4 - mash the bag

__________Day 5 - mash the bag

__________Day 6 - add to the bag 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. milk; mash the bag

__________Day 7 - mash the bag

__________Day 8 - mash the bag

__________Day 9 - mash the bag

__________Day 10 - BAKING DAY!

Pour entire contents of bag into a non-metal bowl.  Add:
1½ c. flour
1½ c. sugar
1½ c. milk
Stir with non-metal utensil.  In 4 one-gallon Ziploc bags, put one cup of batter each.  Date with today's date. There will be batter left in the bowl.

Baking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325
Grease 2 large loaf pans.  Mix some cinnamon and sugar and dust pan.
Add the following to the remaining batter:
3 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
½ c. milk
½ t. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 t. cinnamon
½ t. vanilla
1 ½ t. baking powder
½ t. baking soda
1 large (or 2 small) boxes of instant vanilla pudding
Pour batter into the pans.  Top with more cinnamon and sugar.
Bake one hour then let cool for 10 minutes.
Be sure to keep a starter bag for yourself and give the remaining bags to friends along with a copy of the recipe.
If you keep a starter, you will be baking ever 10 days.
